GREETINGS FELLOW HUMAN! … you’re human right?!
My name is Mike Rutkowski and I am an inspiring Animation and Environment Artist. I am highly motivated in bringing life to new or existing ideas! I am currently exploring possible game engine ideas such as Unity and or Unreal 4. Mike Rutkowski is a digital artist steeped in the realm of 3D modeling and story/character concepting development. Going beyond the surface of these digital art making facets, his work has been focused around scene and environment building for storytelling. By utilizing 3D modeling for storytelling, concepts of intrigue lure the viewer to inspect closer through the usage of their strange, bizarre, curious style. Often, Mike's works are left open ended purposefully to entice the audience to form their own interpretations and draw their own conclusions without being corralled into a singular definitive concept idea poised from formal art. When he is not teaching in the Digital Arts department of Bowling Green State University, he can be found playing Dungeons and Dragons as a battle mage or trying to keep their computer desktop organized and certainly not scattered with various random files to where they cant see their desktop wallpaper.
